Notes: Kevin A. has pointed out that when you rename the folder, you must click on the icon with right mouse button and choose rename for this egg to work correctly.

1. Create a new folder on the desktop and title it "and now, the moment you've all been waiting for"
2. Rename that folder to "we proudly present for your viewing pleasure"
3. Rename it the folder to "The Microsoft Windows 95 Product Team!"
4. Open the folder, and the credits should be displayed.

3D Text Screen Saver
Kudos: Carlos Guerrera
Notes: Requires Windows 95 revision B

In the screen saver settings dialog select '3D Text' as your screen saver. Click 'Settings' and change the text to be displayed to 'Volcano'. The screen saver will now display names of different volcanoes.

Disappearing Task Bar
Kudos: Psy
Warning: Closing the task bar may cause some problems on your desktop. It probably won't, but just to be on the safe side I recommend you save all your other work first before attempting this, as you may end up having to reboot to restore your desktop.

Here's a trick that's great to play on Windows95 neophites.
1. Left click on the Start button (the start menu should appear)
2. Left click on the Start button again (the menu should now disappear)
3. Press Alt+Spacebar, and the control menu for the Start button should popup.
4. Click on close, and the task bar will disappear.

Microsoft Exchange Server 4.0

Kudos: Morris Nuchowicz

Find the file EXGL32.DLL on the Exchange CD or where Exchange is installed and rename it to EXGL32.AVI and view it as an AVI file. This file is in excess of 60 Megs.

Microsoft Excel 97

Kudos: Sven Peterson

In Excel 97, open a new blank worksheet. Press F5 (go to) and type in the range X97:L97, then click OK. Now press Tab once (this should put you in cell M97) and press Ctrl+Shift while clicking once on the chart wizard button (the blue-yellow-red barchart icon). After a few moments, you will be flying over an eerie fractal landscape. Fly around awhile and soon you'll notice a mesa with a shallow depression and a small scrolling shrine to Excel 97 and those who made it happen. Careful, the controls are very sensitive. You can exit the screen by pressing Ctrl+Shitf+Esc (thanks to Phil for pointing this out).
